My blood MCH and MCV are slightly below normal range: MCH 24.2 PG ,?
All other values are normal. What tests, what test results (including normal ranges), it usually is iron deficiency (so one needs to have serum ferritin done to see whether it was indeed so), or having heterozygotic thallasemia. In people not periodically losing blood (e.g. having periods, or regularly donating blood) having an iron deficiency we are always alert for an occult (undiagnosed, having no symptoms yet) especially right sided large bowel carcinoma. So yes, it could have worrisome implications.
